The Abhisam Software India office recently conducted a hybrid Functional Safety training workshop (a combination of a classroom course and the e-learning course) at Mumbai for Toyo Engineering India Private Limited, a part of a global network of design engineering, procurement and construction companies under the Toyo umbrella.

About the Functional Safety training workshop at Toyo

This cohort (batch) included more than 35 participants, both Indian and Japanese, who were lead engineers, project managers and other senior professionals from different disciplines such as Instrumentation, Process Engineering and Projects who enthusiastically participated in the different group exercises and design assignments related to Functional Safety including Functional Safety Verification, Risk Assessment, SIL study, determining Risk Reduction Factors and required SIL, Safety Integrity Level PFDavg calculations, SIS Cybersecurity compliant architectures and much more.

All participants also got access to the Abhisam Functional Safety training course, (the Abhisam Functional Safety, SIL and SIS Cybersecurity (Level 1) e-learning course). On completion of all modules of the course and passing the exam, they will qualify as Functional Safety Professionals. The Functional Safety e-learning course consists of text, graphics, animations, practical exercises and calculations that are encountered while carrying out work related to Functional Safety in industry.

There is a  common myth  “Just Google it”
