Workshop 2- Lead OT Cybersecurity Auditor

  • Intro to PLC, DCS, SCADA and SIS and different Industrial protocols such as MODBUS
  • Architecture of typical systems used in industries
  • Practical demo involving a PLC and a SCADA operator station and Engineering station.
  • Exercise: Evaluation of OT System Architecture for a manufacturing facility
  • Exercise: OT Cyber Risk Assessment for a facility
  • Understanding IEC 62443 in more detail including IEC 62443-2-1, IEC 62443-3-2, IEC 62443-4-1
  • Understanding NIST 800-82
  • Hands-on use of the Abhisam ARSSA™ Tool
  • OT Cyber Risk assessment methodology based on IEC 62443
  • Exercise: Mock audit practice
  • Live PLC Attack Demo with actual PLC & SCADA

  1. Evaluate an OT architecture for cyber resilience-spot weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
  2. Modify it to become more resilient
  3. Attack a PLC (actual hardware branded product-no simulation) via a network, manipulate the actual outputs, manipulate analog values shown on the SCADA/HMI without changing the PLC ladder program
  4. Conduct a Cyber Risk Assessment for your OT System
