What is the ARSA OT Cybersecurity Tool?
This OT cybersecurity assessment tool is a part of the ARSA suite of tools, which stands for Abhisam Rapid Status Assessment tools. The ARSA OT Cybersecurity Assessment Tool is the first such tool in the ARSA family. Other tools in the pipeline include a Chemical Warehouse Assessment Tool and an Explosion Protection equipment assessment tool. These online tools will be first made available to all Abhisam customers who have current licenses for related Abhisam courses or have purchased licenses in the past.

Why a separate OT Cybersecurity Risk Assessment is necessary?
OT cybersecurity risk assessment is different from IT cybersecurity risk assessment because attacks on OT systems can not only result in loss or theft of data (as in IT systems) but can also cause physical damage to assets and equipment, injuries to people and damage to the environment as well. Many legacy and even some current OT systems were not built with cybersecurity in mind and hence are more prone to cyber attacks from bad actors. Also since IT cybersecurity is getting better, attackers may be seeing poorly secured OT systems as low hanging fruit.
Hence if you use OT systems in any form, then you should immediately assess them for cyber security risks. You can do this quickly using this tool.
