It was thought that the process industries (think an oil refinery or a large petrochemical plant) would not be affected much as they already had a lot of sophisticated control systems sucha s DCS/PLC/SCADA systems. However due to new Digitalisation technology, it is now possible to implement very cost effective, cyber secure, fast data acquisition and control schemes, bypassing the entire DCS/PLC and SCADA paradigm altogether!
This workshop will cover everything that you need to know to come up to speed with this new technology including the different kinds of digital field devices that can be used, connection protocols like MQTT, different IIoT platforms, building cyber security from the ground up and much more!
